Sparkling reviews - what our customers think of Dimples
“I have used a few Hydroxyapatite toothpastes in the past but this is one of my new favourites. It has a great texture and the flavour is lovely and pleasant; not too overpowering or strong. Very impressed!”
Nancy
“What a fantastic product!
Even the children love it… There best fluoride free toothpaste there is..☺️“
Kym
“I have suffered from sensitive, wobbly teeth and gum problems for years. Sensodyne was recommended by our dentist but even that made my tongue sore and lips blistered. I have tried a few different HydroxyApatite toothpastes with good results but Dimples is the best. I genuinely think it has saved my teeth.“

FAQs
What is hydroxyapatite toothpaste?
Hydroxyapatite toothpaste is a toothpaste containing the mineral hydroxyapatite rather than fluoride which is used in traditional toothpaste. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is a form of calcium that makes up 95% of your tooth enamel, and 70% of the dentine layer underneath. It is the hydroxyapatite mineral that gives your teeth their hard and strong qualities, so when you use hydroxyapatite toothpaste, you are replacing the lost mineral with what is meant to be there.
Is hydroxyapatite toothpaste safe?
Hydroxyapatite is completely natural and non-toxic, so is a safe and effective alternative if you are wanting to avoid fluoride.
How does hydroxyapatite toothpaste work?
Hydroxyapatite is a naturally occurring mineral in the body, it is completely safe and non-toxic. By using a toothpaste that utilises hydroxyapatite, you are helping your teeth remineralise with what is meant to be there, making them healthy and strong. Teeth demineralise when you eat or drink sugary or acidic foods, so taking the chance to remineralise your teeth (replacing that lost mineral) when you brush is really important. This action of replenishing your mineral prevents tooth decay and reduces your chance of needing fillings.
How much hydroxyapatite should be in toothpaste?
We use a very pure and high quality hydroxyapatite at 5% in our toothpaste, following our suppliers recommendations.
