How does hydroxyapatite toothpaste remineralise enamel & reduce tooth sensitivity?

Hydroxyapatite toothpaste offers a biocompatible approach to treating tooth sensitivity. Hydroxyapatite is the same mineral that makes up around 97% of your tooth enamel, making it a natural ingredient for repairing and protecting teeth.
When you brush with a remineralising toothpaste containing micro hydroxyapatite, the particles bind to the tooth surface and help fill microscopic imperfections in the enamel. They also help block exposed dentinal tubules, reducing the movement of fluid within the tooth that causes sensitivity.
At the same time, hydroxyapatite strengthens enamel by replacing lost minerals, making teeth more resilient to acid attacks.
With regular use of Dimples hydroxyapatite toothpaste, many people notice that their teeth become less sensitive while also feeling smoother, stronger and healthier.

As a dentist, I noticed there were very few fluoride free toothpaste options for patients. A lot of the fluoride free alternatives do not contain any remineralising ingredients, meaning they are not actively helping to prevent tooth decay.
